Joshua Goldstein concentrates his practice in private credit transactions and representing private lending institutions, banks, private equity sponsors and borrowers in a variety of secured and unsecured lending facilities.

Helping financial institutions serve other financial institutions

Joshua's practice is focused on representing a variety of financial institutions in connection with commercial lending facilities including representing secured, second lien and mezzanine lenders in cash flow and asset-based credit facilities. Joshua's practice spans a wide variety of deal sizes and types, from single-lender, lower middle-market credit facilities to representing agents in middle-market credit facilities and lenders buying into a broadly syndicated credit facility. Joshua keeps a practical approach on documentation and negotiation to ensure facilities are negotiated and documented in an efficient and effective manner.

Joshua's experience and knowledge of private credit transactions in the middle market and cash flow lending helps him streamline and make documentation efficient for his various finance transactions.

While attending law school, Joshua was a student articles editor for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. He also participated in the Law-Related Education program teaching children in the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center about their rights and privileges under Illinois and federal laws.
