(CHICAGO) Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP today announced that 19 of the firm’s practices and 45 attorneys have been recognized as leaders in the industry in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Notably, Katten’s Structured Finance and Securitization, Real Estate and Sports Law national practices received new designations, and 10 Katten attorneys received either new or elevated rankings in their respective practice areas.

“The growing number of Katten’s national practice areas that are being recognized by Chambers USA is a tribute to the strong leadership of the firm’s practice chairs and the solid growth and diversity of the firm overall,” said Vincent A. F. Sergi, Katten’s national managing partner.

Katten’s highest rankings were given in the category of Real Estate – Illinois and Real Estate: Finance – North Carolina, which moved up to the top ranking this year. Partners Gregory Brown, Michael R. Callahan, J. Hayden Harrell, Dan Huffenus, Alvin Katz, Chuck Knauss, Floyd A. Mandell, Laura Keidan Martin, Peter F. It is a firm which simply looks to get the deal done for their client.” Of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, a source comments, “They provide extremely pragmatic and practical advice.
