About Amanda M. Christie

Amanda Christie advises clients on all aspects of real estate finance, including originations and restructurings of debt financing and the structuring of equity investment in joint ventures. Named one of the Charlotte Business Journal's 40 Under 40 class of 2018, Amanda also handles traditional real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions and the leasing of real property.

Real estate finance support across industries

Amanda represents financial institutions, institutional investors, private equity funds, real estate investment trusts, developers and other corporate entities, including nonprofit corporations. Her work involves various asset classes, including hotels, office buildings, industrial facilities, retail facilities, resort and casino properties, single-family and multifamily developments and condominiums.

Amanda also has experience in complex workouts and restructurings and has represented lenders on various forebearance and workout-related matters and foreclosures. She has advised clients on a range of such matters, from small single asset deals to large syndicated construction loans across various asset classes, including multi-family, residential, industrial and hospitality. From 2009-2012, Amanda was part of a team that represented a multinational investment bank in a more than $1 billion construction loan to build a mixed-use, urban complex in Las Vegas — considered the largest restructuring at the time.
